An organism may need to adapt to a habitat in order to live there. For example a bird's beak may evolve over time to a skinnier size if it's only food source is bugs in the ground. The food source is important to the organism. The predators are also important to consider. There must also be appropriate shelter for the organism. The weather is also important.
