    Answer: It has to do with newtons laws of motion.

    Explanation:

    The second law states that the acceleration of an object is dependent upon two variables - the net force acting upon the object and the mass of the object. So when forces are unbalanced the car will move.

    newtons third law is for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. so as the car pushes one way on the ground the ground pushes back with equal force.
