Same i. e. 26 in each daughter cell.

Explanation: If a parent cell has 26 number of chromosomes, the chromosome number remains the same and each daughter cells have 26 number of chromosomes after cytokinesis occurs. It is because in mitosis, replication of chromosome occurs which results in the formation of two same identical copies of chromosome. So each copy is distributed in the daughter cell and there is no decrease occurs in chromosome number.
