    1. Gray fur is dominant to white fur will have phenotype as

FF - Gray fur, Ff - gray fur, ff - white fur

    2. Large beak size is dominant to small beak size will have phenotype as:

BB - large beak size, Bb = large beak size, bb = small beak size

    3. Long antennas are recessive to short antennas will have phenotype as

AA - Short antenna, Aa short antenna, aa long antenna.

    Explanation:

In Mendelian Genetics the dominant traits alleles are expressed in capital letters while the recessive traits alleles are written in small letters.

The genotype of the traits determine the phenotype of the individual. The genotype can be either homozygous recessive or dominant, or heterozygous dominant.

For dominant trait to get expressed one of the alleles must be dominant as dominant traits mask the effect of recessive trait from the law of Dominance.

Applying the rules discussed in the following examples:

    1. Gray fur is dominant to white fur will have phenotype:

FF - Gray fur, Ff = gray fur, ff - white fur

    2. Large beak size is dominant to small beak size

BB - large beak, Bb-large beak, bb - small beak.

    3. Long antennas are recessive to short antennas will have phenotype as:

AA - Short antenna, Aa short antenna, aa long antenna.
