Where did coronavirus start? How did it spread?

I think it started in China because that's what everyone is saying. And it spread by people because they don't really wash there hands. They also don't keep themselves clean. I don't know if this is true but people use to say that they catch it because Chinese people would eat animals. But they would only affect older people and like new born baby.
