    Adherens junctions

    Explanation:

An adherens junction can be simply defined as a type of cell junction where the cytoplasmic face and actin cytoskeleton, both are interconnected with one another. These cell junctions covers the cells which are commonly known as the Zonula adherens.

These adherens junctions plays and important role in forming the basic structure of tissues. This cell junction when affected by the above mentioned treatment, it eventually decreases the strength of the tissues.
