The right answer is it will decrease.

Carbon 14 begins to decline once the body dies.

Carbon 14 (14C), which has a half-life of 5,600 years, can be used to determine ages up to about 40,000 years. Beyond that, there is not enough 14C left for the measurement to be reliable. It is used in particular to determine the age of recent fossils but also in prehistoric archeology. Knowing the normal proportion of 14C / 12C in nature and knowing that half of 14C disappears in 5 600 years by giving 12C, the measurement of the proportion of the two isotopes present in a given sample can determine its age.
