    Anatomical homologies are morphological or physiological similarities between different species of plants or animals

    The species evolved through this type of homology have a common ancestor and is called cladogenesis, for example legs of horse and hands of bats, flippers of whale and hands of humans

    In both the above examples, different species are involved but there is physiological similarity between them
