    Predators are good to have in the world because they eliminate population. For example, owls hunt mice, if owls were to go extinct in that area, the population of mice would increase greatly, but there would be too many mice and not enough food. If there weren't any predators, the population of prey would increase and they would starve due to too many mouths to feed.
