Geology is the discipline where the origin and its development is studied It is the study of the structure of the earth. There are basically two types of study in geology - the historical geology and the physical geology. In historical geology, the origin, development and the existence of the earth is studied with reference to time. While in physical geology is the understanding of the material with which the earth is composed of and the different processes that occurs below and on the earth surface.

Geosphere reflects the solid body of the earth. It includes the atmosphere, lithosphere, hydrosphere, biosphere and cyroshere.
