Describe the role of producers in a food web. Are producers the basis of all food webs? Justify your answer.

    Yes because without producers the whole thing Dallas apart. Without leaves that get their energy from the sun insects wouldn't be able to eat this reducing their population, then frogs and mice wouldn't be able to survive without their main source of food, then snakes wouldn't be able to eat, then eagles wouldn't be able to eat and so on.

    The role of producers in a food web is very important. Producers are autotrophs which means that they make their own food. Producers, like plants are the start of the food web and are the basis of all food webs.
