• the pre-synaptic cell-motoneuron that sends signal by releasing the the neurotransmitter from the synaptic vesicles

• synaptic cleft, place where neurotransmitter is released, between motoneuron and muscle fuber

• post-synaptic cell also called endplate - the muscle cell that receives the signal via receptors.
