DNA contains genetic information and codes for making proteins. RNA determines which traits are created, activated or deactivated carrying out the instructions from DNA. DNA cannot leave the cell nucleus while RNA can. DNA is in the shape of a double-helix, and RNA has only one strand.

The three types of complementary base pairings would be C (cytosine) with G (guanine) and U (uracil) and A (Adenine). * RNA uses Uracil intead of Thymine * and the strongest bonds are G with C since they produce more hydrogen bonds.
