    It was far too subjective in the beginning.

    It was also not very sensitive to statistical analysis. There were too few examples of many of the psychological conditions.

    Many of the assertions drawn from the case studies were not based on logical premises. What exactly was someone who was bipolar.

    Little was known between a psychological condition and the body's complex biochemistry. There is no question now that psychological problems are connected to the chemistry of the body.
