How do carcinogens contribute to the development of cancer cells?

    Carcinogens are the substance that has the ability to cause damage to the metabolic methods and genome.

    There are three categories of carcinogens:

    chemical carcinogens. physical carcinogens. oncogenic carcinogens

    Carcinogens are the factors that cause mutations in the gene because of mutations it results in the uncontrolled growth and proliferation of the cell. Carcinogens alter the cellular metabolism due this biological processes gets altered and this result in the uncontrolled cell division that leads to the formation of the tumor.

    Thus by this way carcinogens contributes to the development of cancer cells.
