    False

    Explanation:

Bycatch is not what we hope to catch or target during fishing. They are the undesired or un-targeted sea organisms that follows the real target.

It is common place to always find a bycatch anywhere there is fishing activities because fishing nets cannot distinguish between the desired from the undesired. Also, in a school of fish, other organisms can co-exist living off them.

Bycatches can be juvenile fishes, other sea organisms, wrong sex e. t. c

Often times, they can be released back into the water bodies where they are mistakenly fished from.
