    Quantity of heat by a substance is given by the formula;

    Q = McΔθ

    Where; Q is the quantity of heat, m is the mass in Kg, c is the specific heat capacity, Δθ is the change in temperature.

    Q = 1004 Joules, mass = 0.1116 Kg and Δθ = 20

    Therefore;

    1004 J = 111.6/1000 * 20 * c

    1004 J = 0.1116 * 20 * c

    c = 1004 / (0.1116 * 20)

    = 449.82 J/kg/K
