Carrying capacity is the maximum members of population of species which an environment can support on the basis of presence of resources.

It is difficult to calculate the carrying capacity of planet earth for human beings. As not all land over earth is occupied by humans and the population of human beings increasing exponentially worldwide. Due to their intelligence and ability to solve problems related to scarcity of resources. The carrying capacity of humans is difficult to determine.
