How does climate relate to energy producers and consumers

Not sure 100 how to answer this BUT take wind mills for instance if climate change causes colder winds due to ice melting and drafting winds then we as consumers of energy when coming from windmills and turbines are Benefiting from more wind but not benefiting from global warming
