    Answer: (Left atrium) The pulmonary artery sends deoxygenated to the lungs. Therefore, there's an exchange of blood called the capillary. After going through the capillary, it returns back to the heart known as the pulmonary vein. The left atrium received oxygenated blood from the pulmonary vein.
