Which best describes the process of making recombinant DNA? The isolated DNA is inserted into a mechanical vector for cloning. The DNA fragments are connected to a carrier to be inserted into a host. The sticky ends of fragmented DNA are joined with vector DNA. The isolated genes are joined by using restriction enzymes.

    In the process of making recombinant DNA, a DNA fragment is isolated (cut off from the other not used fragments) and inserted into a vector, or a carrier DNA molecule into a host cell. The rDNA molecules are then generated when the vector replicates.
