    Plant cells:

    - has chloroplasts (to photosynthesize)

    -large central vacuole

    -fully permeable cell wall

    -no centrioles

    -rigid shape (due to cell wall)

    Animal cells:

    -does not have chloroplasts

    -small, temporary vacuoles

    -no cell wall

    -has centrioles near the nucleus (for cell division)

    -irregular shape (due to absence of cell wall)
