You are a marine biologist exploring some of the deepest parts of the ocean. You come across a new organism that has some interesting adaptations. One of those adaptations is an unhinged jaw. What is the most logical purpose for this adaptation?

    The most logical purpose for an unhinged jaw is probably so the organism is able to fit larger food in its mouth.

    Possibly to swallow its prey ... Most likely the same reason why a snake would ... Which i dont know the exact reason but something like that
