The classification of the sugars lie on the prefixes used before the word "saccharide". Mono means one therefore the sugar is simple. Di means two and the sugars in this category are formed from two monosaccharide units. Polysaccharides are formed from three or more molecules of simple sugars. The answer is letter B.
