What are the components of a good hypothesis for a science project / egg drop

If the Independent Variable, then the Dependent Variable:

Your IV is how safe/supportive your design for your egg is

Your DV is what you believe/want the outcome to be after you drop the egg

So (an example could be):

If the structure of the apparatus that holds the egg is built of inflated balloons, then the egg will not crack when it is dropped.
