Why do animal cells have many small vacuoles and plant cells have 1 or 2 large vacuoles?

    Plant cells have a large vacuole der the cell must hold to maintain its shape by water amount. The water creates a preesure called turgor pressure. When the vacuole has high water, the turgor pressure rises cell wall so the cell is rigid. When vacuole has little water, the turgor is low so the cell is flaccid.

    Animal cells don t have to worry so much because it has aqueous environment
