    The correct answer should be d. The rainforest is important to life as a whole on the planet. Without them the global warming phenomenon would skyrocket because of massive spikes of carbon dioxide that is man made. Without them the animal biomes would also get destroyed because suddenly thousands and thousands of species would be left without a home so you would disrupt nature. Without them the Earth would be ravaged by bad things.
