Explain why chlorophyll appears green to us in terms of what happens to the colors that are absorbed by the pigment

    Basically, Chlorophyll absorbs many colors, but it does not absorb green light. Instead of absorbing the light, chlorophyll reflects the green, and this makes the leaves on a plant appear green because that color is reflected back to our eyes.
