How can we prevent sea levels from rising?

There are two ways that global warming causes sea levels to rise. First, as carbon dioxide traps more heat on the planet, the oceans get warmer and expands in volume. Second, ice caps in Greenland and Antarctica as well as other leash or start melting, or more water into the ocean. A way we can prevent sea levels from rising are find a resolution of not having to use fuel for almost everything, maybe like more solar powered items.
