    Organisms benefit from adaptation by surviving longer, reproduction, blending with their environment, and evolving.

    Organisms benefit from adaptations because in order for them to survive, they need to adapt to their surroundings. For example, if a shark didnt have fins or a tail, it wouldnt be able to swim and catch its prey.
