What happens if both sister chromatids move to the same pole

    You end up with two cells with aneuploidy, or abnormal chromosome number. One daughter cell will have one extra chromosome, the other daughter cell will have one less than what it should have. For example, if the normal number is 46, and this happened, you would end up with one cell with 45 and one cell with 47.
