The best method of submitting evidence to a crime lab would be through personal delivery. Thismethod would ensure that the package doesn’t mixed up or contaminated while beingtransported. Personal delivery is also better than mail shipment because with personal delivery the investigators know that the evidence will not get lost or stolen
