    Increased plant mortality is not a possible effect of rising carbon dioxide levels on plants. The correct option is B. More than enough carbon dioxide are continuosly been released into the atmosphere as a result of burining of fossils fuels. This excessive carbon dioxide has some negative effects on plants, but these does not include inreased mortality of plants.
