    Golgi complex

The Golgi complex is responsible for taking proteins that have been built and essentially "shipping" them by putting them in fluid surrounded by lipid layer for transport. These transports are called vesicles. The Golgi complex is like a post office or pack-ship store that packages and sends the proteins out toward the membrane where they are then expressed to perform their various functions.
