Distinguish between energy flow and cycling of inorganic nutrients

Energy flow is how solar energy and inorganic nutrients energy is converted at the autotroph. While inorganic nutrients lack carbon-carbon bonds, in the soil and the water surronding the plant are taken from the soil and waters inorganic nutrient pool which provides the nutrients that solar energy works upon to make organic nutrients through photosynthesis.
