    The phase of growth is G1. During this phase, cells enlarges, oragnelles are duplicated, and the molecular binding blocks required at the later stages, are also synthesized. It is a subphase of interphase, in which the cell prepares itself for the process of cell division.

    G1 stage is the first of four periods of the cell cycle that occur in eukaryotic cell division. In this piece of interphase, the cell orchestrates mRNA and proteins in readiness for resulting steps prompting mitosis. G1 stage closes when the cell moves into the S period of interphase.
