How does probability relate to genetics?

    Given the genotypes of both parents you can put the alleles into a punnet square. Probablilty relates to the chance of obtaining a set of homozygous dominant/recessive or a heterozygous phenotype after you can see all the possible combinations and how often they appear on the punnet square.
