Which number can each term of the equation be multiplied by to eliminate the decimals before solving?

5.6j - 0.12 = 4 + 1.1j

    I believe the answer is 100

    Such that

    5.6j - 0.12 = 4 + 1.1j

    100 (5.6 j - 0.12) = 100 (4+1.1j)

    = 560j - 12 = 400 + 110j

    We consider the term with more number of decimals; that is 0.12

    Therefore, multiplying by 100 you will get 12, and also all the other term will be not have decimals.
