The ear functions because of its structure that displays and initiates many transformation and accommodation of sound waves to able to translate them and understand these sensations for sound acuity. The pinna, the eardrum, the cochlea and the most important part of the ear is the hairlike structures in the cochlea which transduces these sound waves into meaningful information (perception).

Ear is a sensory organ responsible for hearing and listening. It is connected by the auditory nerve which serves as the messenger of information from the sense organ to the brain specifically in the primary auditory cortex.
