The biodiversity of a certain climate is dependent on the conditions in the climate. A rainforest possesses the conditions in which most wildlife thrives. This is why the greatest biodiversity is observed in such places.

Tundras have harsh climates with limited resources, meaning only a few species are able to adapt to it so the biodiversity is limited.

A cornfield and vegetable garden will not provide much biodiversity due to its close contact to humans; however, the abundance of food will lead to any species that have adapted to live there to thrive. They will also face unnatural selection pressures such as insecticides and pesticides sprayed by humans.
