Hurricane season in the north atlantic ocean officially begins in june and ends in november. which ocean surface conditions are responsible for the development of hurricanes?

    Warm and moist air on the ocean surface would most likely be responsible for the development of hurricanes. In addition to that, these atmospheric conditions would "fuel" the forming of clouds and rain from the water vapour, and as the condensation continuously increase, it forms hurricanes.
