Megan wanted to make some calcium chloride (CaCl2) for an experiment. She knew that for every 40g of calcium there would be 71 g of chlorine. Megan only used 20 g of calcium. Calculate how much chlorine would be in the compound.

    Because 40 = 20x2, in order to keep the ratio consistent Megan would need 1/2 of 71 g of chlorine which is 35.5, right?
