What happens when there is a temperature difference between two objects?

A) Heat is transferred from one object to the other.

    The hot object transfers heat to the colder object until they are both the same temperature, but that is what happens when the two objects are put together. but i think when there is a body between the two then the body gets colder by losing heat (giving all heat to the objects)

    so the answer is A.
