It is crucial that the process of mitosis is error free. This is because otherwise healthy cells can be damaged and cause uncontrollable growth like cancer cells or can have genetic effects that will clearly effect the health condition of the host overall such as the physical, psychological or the biological physiology of the individual. Mitosis is a cell division process where in the cell divides into a new cell having 2 daughter cells which have the same chromosomes as the mother cell.
