Chikens can have different types of feathers.

    I don't think so, unless you're talking about their variation of colors.

    I think that chickens do have different types of feathers, the overlayer aka the first layer that serves as protection from dirt and water, and the down that is underneath the overlayer/first layer that keeps the chicken warm. I'm not sure though.
