    The vagina is the birth canal, and where the penis is inserted while having sex.

    The ovary, usually two, is/are the reproductive organ (s).

    and the cervix is the lower part of the uterus.

    It functions like a door.

    It opens while having sex, so semen can get through, but also when menstruating, so blood can get through the other way.
