How will the movement of water across the cell membrane affect the size of a cell if it is moved from an 80% sucrose solution to a 40% sucrose solution

    The cell will increase in size as the water concentration increases due to osmosis. This means the cell fills up with more water which will cause it to expand. And if this is a plant cell then it will cause it to become turgid and the cell contents push against the cell wall.
