    Interphase is composed of G1 phase follwed by S phase, followed my G2 phase at the end of interphase comes to the mitotic phase, which is made up of mitosis and cytokinesis and leads to the formation of the two daughter cells

    G1=cell growth

    S = DNA synthesis

    G2=same as G1
