What advantage does the phylogenic classification system have over the Linnaean system?

    The advantage that the phylogenic classification system has over the Linnaean system is that the phylogenic system defines each organism as a plant or animal; The Linnaean system does not. Apparently, this is a huge flaw that the Linnean system has, because it is quite important to distinguish between plants and animals, especially in such cases when it is not obvious at the first glance.
