A forest fire runs through the foothills, its burns and kills all of the shrubs. what effect will the loss of these producers have on the rest of the ecosystem?

    This will effect the air quality, as the trees and other plants produce oxygen. It will also cause a decrease in animal population because small animals won't have shelter or food and larger animals that rely on the smaller animals as food will no longer have food either.
